Nature School (Grades 4-6): Forest Fridays
School Year Programs
Join us for a journey of discovery and exploration with our monthly Forest Fridays Nature school program. Designed for adventurers ages 9-12, this unique educational experience offers a once-a-month opportunity to create a deeper understanding of the natural world. Each session is carefully planned to inspire curiosity, foster a love of nature, and teach a variety of hands-on games, activities, and guided explorations. Topics include fire building, wood whittling, orienteering, shelter building, and so much more!
The lessons will be project-based and will be guided by the interest of the students and environmentally focused. Small classes allow the students to feel part of a tight-knit school community and receive one-on-one instruction all while they enjoying learning. We spend most of the day outside in ALL weather and ask that students come dressed for the day accordingly!

What parents are saying…
"Our child truly blossomed at Toronto Nature School. His social skills, his love of nature, and even his academic abilities grew in leaps and bounds during his time in the class. The dedication of the teachers and their love for nature was evident in the stories recounted after school. Every week was a new adventure in the woods and at the beach. He still talks enthusiastically about all the amazing things he did at Toronto Nature School."
